Ashrams in Shirdi by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust
Though there is no dearth of hotels in Shirdi but if you are looking for neat and economical stay options in Shirdi, the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Trust offers online booking. Sai Baba Sansthan Trust manages three ashrams, with combine inventory of close to 2400 rooms. All these three ashrams are within close vicinity of Sai Baba Temple. Accommodation in these ashrams is comfortable and peaceful. The trust has three stay options in Shirdi viz. Sai Ashram, Dwarawati and New Bhakta Niwas.
Accommodation in Sai Ashram, Shirdi
It (Sai Ashram Phase 1) is the oldest of all three and has close to 1536 rooms, which can accommodate up to 9000 devotees. Of 1536 rooms 1152 are common rooms with attached bath room and 384 air-conditioned rooms. Besides, the ashram has a common services block where you have restaurant for Sai devotees. The Sai Ashram also has an Open Air Theatre (OAT), which can accommodate up to 2000 devotees for Sai Kirtans, Bhajans and other cultural programs.
Accommodation in Dwarawati, Shirdi
Built in 2008, Dwarawati is close to the Bus stand. It is approximately one kilometre away from Sai Baba Temple. Dwarawati has 334 rooms, dormitories and large rooms to accommodate small groups or families of six to ten people. There are 80 air-conditioned rooms as well. Dwarawati is also well equipped with the facilities like 24 hr. water supply, electricity supply (with power back-up), parking and security. You can get a basic room for as little as Rs. 100. Air-conditioned room can be booked for Rs. 800 – 1000.
Accommodation in New Bhakta Niwas, Shirdi
The New Bhakta Niwas as the name suggests has 542 rooms of various categories. This complex is located on the highway and the trust runs round the clock shuttle service between temple complex and New Bhakta Niwas to ferry the devotees. It is about one kilometre from Sai Baba Temple. This complex is well equipped with canteen facility, parking space, 24-hr water supply, electricity supply (with power back-up) and security.

Hi first you need to register on Sai Baba Trust website http://online.sai.org.in/ and then you can book a room in Sai Baba trust ashrams as per availability. Hope this helps.

I am srinivasan from pondicherry. yesterday 3.8.16 , I booked room for 2days 15 to 17th aug at sri sai ashram bakta nivas ,thro online at SSST shirdi and piad thro my debit card. Amount is paid /debited but i have not received any conformation SSST. Request your advise on how to get confirmation. Thank you.
Dwaravati Bhakta niwas is a third class management. 1 no cheaters and liers.Deceived me today only after booking my room no 175 for two days ice for 15 the and 16 the April they made me vacate the room on 6.30 am on 16 the April.
Manager is a useless man not even can speak properly.

Thanks. I have also plan to visit with my family on the month of February2014. Through online I have booked 2 rooms. My parents are old persons.After reach then I book the special permission to visit as per our time schedule. Can u share is it possible to darshan in that way or I have to prebook?

Hi All,
I recently (Sep26/27) went to Shirdi with my family. I thought of posting my experience related to Accommodation and dharshan which will be very useful to all devotees.
We stayed in the Sai Ashram Guest House run by Sai Sansthan Trust. The bookings were made 2 days prior to the journey and luckily the accommodation was available for us. We as a family (4 adultlts,1 Kid- 11 Yrs and 1 Infant) went and booked the room of A/C with Western Toilet facility for old people.
The rooms were amazing and the services by the Staff members were too good. I could see all smiling faces for the services and requests from us. The cost of the room is 950 including extra mattress. The room is such a big where we all happily stayed. Thanks to all the staff members and trust for maintaining such a clean and pleasant atmosphere. They have Non AC rooms also which comes for Rs 500
Even they serve breakfast in a packet which has Poori and Side dish with a sweet also. This comes for Rs4 only. Apart from this we also get Lunch and Dinner for Rs 10 for adults and Rs 5 for Kids. Luckily we have that also free on the day we visited as some devotee is sponsoring free for all. Food is very good and hygienic also. Even we have the facility of Coffee, Tea, Biscuits and water bottles available within the Guest house itself.
They also provide frequent shuttles to Main Temple at regular intervals free of cost which is very helpful.
Regarding the Dharsha – I booked online for the slot available and took the printout. The entrance was via Shani Gate where we can quickly get Baba’s Dharshan.
Overall the entire trip was amazing, with Bab’s Grace and Blessings.
