Dalhousie is a lovely hill station in Himachal Pradesh. It is a good summer vacation option for travellers looking for quiet and laid back holiday. Also called mini Switzerland of India Dalhousie is located at an altitude of 2036 meters. The hill station has pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendron that make it lovely and soothing in summer. Dalhousie has charming colonial architecture, including some beautiful churches.

Khajjiar roughly 23 km from Dalhousie is even more beautiful and the group plans to trek from Dalhousie to Khajjiar. Dalhousie is 485 km by road from Delhi and 52 km from Chamba. The closest Pathankot, 80 km away is nearest railway station. The airport at Gaggal in Kangra is at a distance of 135 km from Dalhousie.
