Char Dham Yatra Opening Dates 2012

Char Dham temples are located in higher reaches of the Garhwal Himalayas and kapat of these holy shrines are shut as winter sets in. The Char Dham Yatra then re-opens after an approximate gap of six months, when GMVN announces the opening dates for all the four shrines.

Opening dates for this year’s Char Dham yatra for Yamunotri and Gangotri is 24^th April. The opening dates for other two dhams – Badrinath and Kedarnath has not been announced yet.
