Salasar is 24 km from Sujangarh and is located on the Jodhpur – Ambala Highway (Highway No. 65). You can reach Salasar from Delhi, Jaipur, Bikaner and other neighbouring towns, which are well connected by regular bus service run by Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation.
Salasar Balaji Route from Delhi
Most of the roads in Rajasthan are in good condition and so there should be no difficulty in reaching Salasar Balaji by Road from Delhi. There are two different road routes you can take to reach Salasar Balaji Temple from Delhi.
Delhi –Salasar Balaji Route via Gurgaon
Take this route if your starting point is Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gurgaon. All you have to do is to reach NH-8, which connects Delhi to Jaipur. If you are coming from Noida or Ghaziabad, reach Delhi via DND or Ring Road, reach Dhaula Kuan and take NH -8 towards Gurgaon. Please note NH 8 from Delhi to Jaipur is a toll road and the first toll plaza is just before you enter Gurgaon. Continue on NH-8 crossing Dharuhera, Manesar, Behror, Kotputli, Shahpura and Chadwaji. Once you cross Chandwaji on NH-8 keep an eye for a road branching towards Chomu on your right. Take the fork (right) to Chomu and then NH-11 (after you cross Chomu) to Sikar. Salasar Balaji is approx. 58 km from Sikar.
Salasar Balaji Route via Gurgaon from Delhi: Delhi – Gurgaon – Manesar – Dharuhera – Behror – Kotputli – Shahpura – Chandwaji – Chomu – Sikar – Salasar Balaji. (Approx. distance 370 km)
Delhi-Salasar Balaji Route via Rewari
Delhi – Salasar Balaji Temple route via Rewari is shorter as compared to the Delhi-Salasar Balaji route via Gurgaon. You can take NH 8 towards Gurgaon, cross Manesar and Dharuhera. Take right turn on 71 B from Dharuhera towards Rewari. Cross Rewari and take the road to Jhunjhunu passing through Narnol (SH26) and Chidawa. Once you reach Jhunjhunu, take the road leading to Mukundgarh, Laxmangarh and reach Salasar.
Salasar Balaji Route via Rewari from Delhi: Delhi – Gurgaon – Manesar – Dharuhra – Rewari – Narnol – Singhana – Chidawa – Jhunjhunu – Mukandgarh – Laxmangarh – Salasar (Approx. distance 320 km)
Jaipur-Salasar Balaji Route from Jaipur
It is very easy to reach Salasar Balaji Temple from Jaipur. One can take the NH-11 from Jaipur to Sikar and then MDR 24 to Salasar Balaji Temple. The distance is close to 170 km. However, more convenient option is to continue on NH-11 after you cross Sikar towards Laxmangarh and then take left on NH-65 towards Salasar.
Salasar Balaji Route from Jaipur: Jaipur – Chomu – Govindgarh – Sikar – Laxmangarh – Salasar
Salasar Balaji Temple can also be reached by rail and air transport. Sujangarh, Sikar, Didwana, Jaipur and Ratangarh are the nearest railheads for reaching Salasar Balaji. Jaipur is the nearest airport to reach Salasar Balaji Temple. One can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Salasar Balaji from Jaipur.
